THE STORY OF TNA

Welcome to TNA! My name is Emma, I'm the founder and my mission is to inspire and empower women to step away from the restrictive world of dieting and focus on their overall health and well-being.

I founded TNA because I believe in the power of confidence to build self-belief, self-esteem, and the desire to look after our bodies and minds.

I want all women to feel this sense of confidence, to recognise their worth, and to realise that they are capable of achieving incredible things, inside and outside the gym. 
 

At TNA, we have created a community where women feel supported in their journeys to achieve their goals. This is a safe space where we can share our challenges, celebrate our successes, support each other, all while having fun!

The focus of TNA is not on the endless fight to be skinny but on feeling good overall. Our philosophy emphasises more energy, strength, and confidence. It’s about nurturing our bodies and minds to become the best versions of ourselves. Since 2019 we've helped tons of women to feel better, healthier, stronger and most importantly, more confident.

MEET THE TEAM

LAURA

Hi, I’m Laura!

 

I've always been passionate about fitness and nutrition, so in 2020, I decided to swap my desk job for a more fulfilling path and qualified as a personal trainer. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping women discover their own strengths and realize what they are truly capable of achieving. I've also earned qualifications in nutrition coaching, Pilates, and pre and postnatal fitness.

Personal experiences with my own body have shown me how crucial physical health is and how it should never be taken for granted. I believe community in fitness is incredibly important, which is why TNA is so special to me. I love being part of an environment that makes health and fitness accessible to all women.

As a coach, my goal is to help you enjoy your workouts and understand and work with your body, rather than feeling like it’s working against you!

SARAH

Hey, I'm Sarah!

Having been a serial dieter since the age of 14, I spent my 40s and 50s at a weight I accepted as okay, but I lived with the constant fear of overeating and an unhealthy 'good' and 'bad' attitude toward food. In 2018, Emma worked gently and determinedly with me to let go of my food restrictions, tune into my body and hunger hormones, and get myself feeling fit and healthy.

The confidence I now have in my body and myself led me to qualify as a trainer and coach with TNA, to help women through the process I have been through. I believe all women deserve to feel good in their own skin and recognise the positive impact that healthy nutrition and fitness have on our lives.

Chloe

Hey, I’m Chloe!

I've been working in the fitness industry for the past eight years. My love for movement and health started with my background in dance, where I practiced and competed in Freestyle Disco dancing from ages 12 to 22. I went on to study Contemporary Dance at the University of Dundee in Scotland. After moving south to pursue a professional dance career, I quickly realised that the competitive and uncertain nature of the performance industry wasn’t for me. However, I was passionate about pursuing a movement-based career.

Fast forward, and I have built a rewarding career in the fitness and wellness space, teaching various exercises such as Pilates, Spin, Dance Fitness, Barre, and Strength and Conditioning in one-on-one and small group settings.

 

My teaching style aims to create a comfortable, supportive, and enjoyable environment where people can explore movement in all its forms, building their physical and mental health. I love seeing people positively progress in how they feel in their bodies and minds, gain control and connection to their health, and improve their daily lives and resilience to life's ups and downs.

I feel very lucky to be part of TNA and its mission to prioritize women’s health, helping women increase their confidence through all stages of life within this amazing community.

JEANETTE

Hi, I’m Jeanette!

 

Asides from a bit of open water swimming, I have never really been interested in sport and fitness and have always had a love/hate relationship with food. I was your classic yo-yo dieter, and tried pretty much every ‘diet’ under the sun from Slimfast to Atkins only to come away from every single one bigger than I started and never wishing to go back once I'd fallen off the wagon.

Then I found Emma and TNA! I’m now pretty proud to say I was one of the original members from day 1; I am still here and still going despite having had 101 excuses to quit during that time. I come out of every workout feeling like I can conquer the world as its completely tailored to what I can and can’t do at that moment but always pushes me beyond where I think I can go. Whilst I have had a lot of health distractions, I am just starting to bring my focus back to my nutrition and TNA are there again to help me, to avoid the pit falls, to help keep me motivated and to keep me accountable.

Now, I get to give back by helping behind the scenes with the admin, as the company expands to its second location – such an exciting time! I’m also here with an empathetic ear and words of encouragement if and when needed.

TRAVIS

Hey, I'm Travis!

Since 2014, I’ve been dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness goals as a personal trainer, working with a diverse range of individuals with unique backgrounds and aspirations. My expertise lies in strength and conditioning, as well as exercise rehabilitation. With a degree in sports and exercise science, I bring a deep understanding of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, exercise psychology, and human performance to every session.

Throughout my career, I have predominantly worked with women over 30, which makes TNA a perfect fit for me. Joining TNA allows me to continue making a positive impact on women’s health and well-being. I strongly believe in the power of community and the importance of women supporting women. TNA’s mission to prioritize women’s health and build confidence resonates deeply with me, and I am excited to contribute to this incredible community.

At TNA, I aim to empower women to feel strong, confident, and connected to their bodies. I’m committed to creating an environment where you can thrive, achieve your fitness goals, and enhance your overall quality of life.
